True Stories from the Land of Roots   2003-4

C-Type photographic prints and audio recordings.              Related audio link

The Land of Roots is a permaculture site in County Durham, set up by a group of friends in an attempt to create a more environmentally sustainable lifestyle. The images and sound works explore the group’s different relationships to the landscape and attempt to highlight some of the issues surrounding alternative lifestyles and our relationship to the natural world.

This work was originally exhibited as an installation in Railway St Housing co-op Lanchester Co. Durham and then later in the Park Keepers house as part of Newcastle Community Green Festival Leazes Park 2004.
