See Beyond the Stars (2018)
Work with Heaton History Project and Ravenswood School as part of the project Brains Steam and Speed which explored the history of engineering in Heaton, Newcastle.
I worked with children from year five over a period of two months exploring the history of Grubb Parsons telescope manufacturers, as part of the project we learned about the science of optics, in relation to telescopes and photography making our own pinhole cameras and turning the classroom into a camera obscurer. We then photographed the old Grubb Parsons factory using the cameras we had made exhibiting all of this work at the People's Theatre as part of the Brains Steam and Speed exhibition.
